So many times I’ve wanted to tell you “thank you” for doing so much to improve my health. Besides the chiropractic adjustments, your knowledge and advice on nutrition has had a tremendous impact. Besides the supplements, getting the book by Dr. Berg started me on a wonderful path toward healthy and knowledgeable eating! That led me to "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Icivgdolver, no so much about nutrition but greatly expanded my knowledge about our food supply and encouraged me to grow my own veggies and sue the farmers' market. Lately I’ve suspected I either have celiac disease or a strong intolerance of gluten. I am so thankful for the foundation of health you have blessed me with so that I have the strength to launch into a gluten-free world! I feel so much better after only a few days – I am excited and scared at the same time. Another book – "Gluten Free Girl" has been a big help. It made me think a lot and I always come back to realizing how much you have helped me – so again THANK YOU!

Cold Laser Therapy

Eighteen years ago I was told that I needed total knee replacements.  Through a regimen of anti-inflammatories and icing after running/ walking, I was able to avoid that.  But swelling and pain continued.

Three years ago, the longitudinal ligament in my left foot was damaged, resulting in extreme pronation.  Eventually, the knee was affected with swelling, pain, and instability (difficulty rising from a chair, walking, and going up stairs). 

After four treatments with the laser, all swelling is down and I have full mobility again.  I can exercise on the floor, kneel, and squat (I even spent half an hour on my knees in a prayer with no discomfort, rising without holding on to something).  I give praise to God and thanks to Dr. Jacobs.

Also, the shredded foot ligament has received two laser treatments – I no longer am taping the foot for support.  Strength is returning gradually and pain has subsided nearly 90%!

I work at a computer all day as a graphic designer and often I put in long days.  I developed shoulder pain from the work and stress of meeting deadlines.  I wouldn’t have pain all day every day, but when I spent long days in the studio the pain would come and stay for days.  I’ve always had headaches and I’m sure this attributed to them.  After two laser treatments the pain completely went away – and has not come back.  And I’ve had some deadlines in the meantime but still the pain is gone.  It’s so nice not to have the nagging shoulder pain when I work.

I had slipped on the ice a few weeks ago and fallen on my ribs.  I went to Swedish Clinic and the MD ordered x-rays of my ribs.  The x-rays showed no broken ribs, but the MD told me it could take from 6 to 12 months for the rib pain to go away.  Before Dr. Jacobs did the Cold Laser Treatment on my ribs, the pain level was a level 8 out of 10 (0 being no pain and 10 horribly severe pain).  The severe pain was so bad that I couldn’t lift my arm over my head or do yoga.

After the very 1st laser treatment on my very painful ribs, the pain went to a 0 = no pain!  I could even get off the treatment table and lift my arm over my head without pain.  I’ll be able to do yoga now, which I thought it would be months before I could resume yoga.  On top of that, my left knee has been painful, usually a 5 out of 10 pain level, for 52 years since I had knee surgery at 18 years of age.  It has been twice the size compared to the other knee for 52 years also.  I have been told that my ‘bad’ knee that was operated on 52 years ago is now bone-on-bone.  After only one laser treatment, I have no pain for the first time in 52 years!  And if that isn’t enough, the swelling has gone down 25% already and the constant snapping/ popping sound has gone away completely.  What a miracle!

I had major surgery on my right knee 35 years ago.  Since then it’s always been sensitive to certain motions but was not a major concern.

Several months ago my knee started swelling and was very stiff.  Certain motions were difficult and I was concerned that the deterioration would continue and I might have to have surgery again.  After four laser treatments my knee is so much better and I can’t believe it.  I have more “looseness” and range of motion.  I don’t know if it will ever be perfect – it hasn’t been for most of my life, but it no longer limits my activities and I’m no longer worrying about surgery again.

Active Therapeutic Movements

After living in Colorado only 48 hours, my husband and I were in a car accident.  We hadn’t yet set up any physicians so were at a loss on whom to see.  Dr. Randy Jacobs was referred to us by a couple we recently met.  It had been three weeks since the accident and my husband and I were still in great pain.  After only two visits, I began feeling an improvement.  My treatment included adjustments, laser therapy, hydro therapy, decompression, and my favorite, the ATM machine.  Each visit I progressed.  After 10 visits, I was completely pain free!  It felt like a miracle that my wellness would advance so rapidly using such natural means!

Decompression

I was having severe numbness in both of my hands and was not getting results from anything until Dr. Jacobs started me on the decompression (miracle machine).  I noticed a big improvement after my 2nd treatment.  After 4 treatments the numbness in my hands was 88% better!  I am back to sleeping at night and able to take care of my son again.

I awoke one morning about six years ago unable to move without severe back pain.  I was prescribed shoe inserts, given physical therapy and naproxin sodium, and visited many, many chiropractors.  Until last July, when I first saw Dr. Jacobs I had no hope of being pain-free without medication.  I was skeptical, even at that point, but was also desperate and would try anything.  I have been coming in for chiropractic care, spinal disc decompression therapy and laser therapy, and have been pain-free for 4 weeks and am optimistic and ecstatic at the possibility of this continuing and not walking like I’m 90 until I actually am 90!

Constant Pain in the Arm

Several months ago my hand started feeling numb. It got progressively worse and moved up my arm. I began getting pain with the numbness. I thought I could "put up" with it. It was when I had to start using my computer mouse with my left hand that I knew something was very wrong. It had gone from occasional numbness, to all the time pain and numbness. I finally "gave in" and decided to see a chiropractor. I had never been to one before. I was skeptical going in, but also desperate.

I left my VERY FIRST appointment with considerable improvement. It seemed like a miracle to me. When waiting in the waiting room, two different patients who knew it was my first time were excited for me. They went on and on about what a "miracle worker" Dr. Jacobs is. He is. I now (after only several weeks of seeing him) have hardly any numbness at all. I realize it will take a while, and doing my home exercises, along with continuing to see him to keep the progress. I will never be without him again. That means, Dr. Jacobs, you can never retire!

Neck, Shoulder and Upper Back Pain

I had head/neck aches and numbness in my right arm all the way down to my hand.  I have had headaches forever, recently they have become more frequent and severe.  I was taking lots of aspirin.  I knew the dosages I was taking were not good for my stomach.  A friend thought I should try a chiropractor since the medical doctors weren’t doing me any good.
